North West Fire Doors is a now officially up and running as a new entity of its own, originally founded as a venture between two companies with similar and mutual interests, Spark-Risk Limited and CJ Joinery.
The seed of this relationship was sown four years ago, starting when fire risk assessments carried out by Spark-Risk Limited had identified deficiencies with fire doors, leading to clients attempting to get the issues resolved at minimal cost by using general builders/joiners, only to find that when the Fire Service came back to inspect them, the fire doors or fire door installation did not meet the specific requirements and thus still didn't fully comply with regulations, meaning clients had to pay again to get these problems rectified. This evidently caused the client inconvenience, stress, additional costs and down time, all detrimental and unaffordable to the running of a successful business.
But there was an answer to this, the start of a very successful partnership between Spark-Risk Limited and CJ Joinery. Our aim and commitment was and still is simple- to provide a professional, cost-effective solution for our clients to become fully compliant.
Together we integrated our expertise, craft and vast experience in our respective fields, and were able to offer a bespoke service to both small businesses and large organisations alike to deliver a fire door installation, repair and maintenance service which is guaranteed to satisfy both Building Regulations and The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Over the past 4 years we have been working in successful partnership but from January 2015 we realised our business was really working for our customers, and decided it was time to take things to the next level, which was working together permanently, hence the start of a very exciting venture as Nprth West Fire Doors.
Together we have already carried out a great variety of work in all shapes and sizes of building, such as in care homes all across the North West of England; high street stores in London; a Tudor-style listed building in Kent; refurbished fire doors throughout a large building in Manchester's famous Northern Quarter, The Manchester Buddhist Centre; buildings at Manchester University; Factories, offices, shops, varying sizes of residential flats and HMO's. We are based in Warrington, Cheshire, and close to the business centres of Manchester and Liverpool, but to us, geography is irrelevant; we can provide a solution for our clients, businesses new and old, large and small, regardless of location or distance, and still be highly competitive to provide the tailored solution you need.
